Educational Qualification Minimum Graduation from an HEC-recognized institution. A Master's Degree is preferred.
Experience Required Minimum 5 years of branch banking experience, with at least 2 years as a Branch Manager or 3 years as a Branch Operation/Relationship Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Leadership Role

The Branch Manager will be entrusted with the overall management and profitability of the branch. This is a multi-faceted role that requires a blend of strategic planning, sales acumen, operational oversight, and people management. Core duties include:

  • Business Development: Taking full responsibility for the branch's performance, including developing consumer business (both Conventional and Aitemaad Islamic Banking), achieving sales targets and KPIs, and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proactively engaging with both existing (ETB) and new-to-bank (NTB) customers to drive deposit generation and market a wide range of retail banking products.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, initiating customer satisfaction reviews, and ensuring timely resolution of complaints and queries.
  • Strategic Execution: Developing and executing the branch's annual business plan and budget, ensuring all activities align with the broader regional and group strategies.
  • Risk & Compliance: Monitoring internal controls to maintain sound operational health, ensuring strict compliance with all banking laws, SBP regulations (including AML/CFT), and internal policies to prevent fraud and forgeries.
  • Team Leadership: Managing all staffing aspects, including recruitment, succession planning, and creating a motivating work environment that attracts and retains high-caliber professionals.
