Key Responsibilities and Main Duties
The successful candidate will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities critical to the bank's credit operations. The primary duties include:
- Assisting in the detailed scrutiny of Sanction Advice/FOL against the Credit Approval Authority Booklet (CAAB) and other policies.
- Participating in the selection of the Bank's Legal Advisor (BLA) and allocating assignments.
- Preparing both standard and non-standard documentation for various account types, including Structured, Consumer, Commercial, and Corporate accounts.
- Assisting in the registration of charges with SECP, registration of mortgages, and marking of lien with relevant registrars and revenue offices.
- Seeking and verifying genuineness certificates from BLA for title documents and ensuring all finance documentation is legally enforceable before disbursement.
- Preparing essential documents like Documentation Checklists (DCL) and Disbursement Authorization Certificates (DAC).
- Handling, managing, and maintaining the security and finance documents in a safe and secure manner.
- Ensuring all insurance policies tendered by customers are valid, cover all required risks, and are backed by original premium receipts.
- Performing any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Required Skills & Knowledge
To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess the following skills and expertise:
- Sound knowledge of Credit Documentation, Pledge Operations, and Corporate/SME credit portfolios.
- Exposure to collateral management, risk monitoring, and reporting procedures.
- Excellent team management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
